INTERNATIONAL BESTSELLING AUTHOR | CERTIFIED TRANSFORMATIONAL
TRAINER & SPEAKER | EXECUTIVE COACH | ENTREPRENEUR | LICENSED
MARRIAGE & FAMILY THERAPIST | PASTOR
Born and raised in Oakland, California, Alicia Partee has overcome challenges and broken barriers throughout her life, while accomplishing many firsts. From navigating a vision disability throughout her childhood to being the first manager to excel at leading a Cantonese language team (without even speaking the language) and becoming the first African American to pastor the American Lutheran Congregation in Oslo, Norway—Alicia has continued to pave the way for others.
After decades of leading technology teams across a variety of Fortune 500 companies and start-up organizations in Silicon Valley, Alicia transitioned to the role of clinical program manager for the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health. Then, after following her husband to Norway, she became general manager of the Embassy Employee Association (EEA) for the U.S. Embassy in Oslo, Norway.
During her time abroad, Alicia struggled to connect and feel a true sense of belonging in the new surrounding and culture. Her continued optimism and quest for solutions ultimately led her to founding Authentigrate—a company rooted in helping bridge cultural divides, leveraging technology to provide solutions so individuals can flourish authentically in new cultures and environments.
Authentigrate continued to grow and now serves companies who are expanding their brands globally to help prepare, engage and support their global talent for successful transitions, staff retention and to protect their investment as they expand their brands around the world.
